Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for over ten seasons. She was part, and captain, of both the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team The Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics at London. Additionally, she brought her bronze on balance beam. She was the first Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. She along with the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals in team competitions. The silver medals she won came from the floor individual and all-around event. Three years had passed when she last participated in competitive gymnastics. In addition, she was an athlete on two gold medal winning world championship teams. She began her gymnastics training when she was just two years old and is a fan of floor exercise. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing a career in fashion and hopes to broaden her leotard line and socks in future. Fierce, a new book she is working on is due out later in the year.
